Portofino is made from exclusive vegetable-tanned calf leather with unique characteristics. This vegetable leather is tanned without chrome, on the so-called “wet white,” instead of the well known “wet blue,” which contains chrome in the tanning process. This makes the leather more ecological and very unique.
